In an effort to "hack" viewers' iPhones, the pop group Lyrical School has created a music video that takes over everything from FaceTime to Twitter. The Japanese pop group launched its debut video for the song, "Run and Run," on April 6. Now, it's going viral, thanks to its creative editing, which makes it look like the band is all over iOS.

The video was shot in the vertical view, catered to fit a smartphone screen. The six members of Lyrical School run through apps, including the iOS camera function and iMessage. At one point in the video, it looks as if a viewer could actually scroll through images in his or her Photo Gallery and see the band.

Unfortunately, the appeal of the video may be lost on an Android device. However, it's still one of the many unique ideas that's recently come out of the Asian pop music scene.

Lee Hi, one of Korean pop music's breakout sensations, made headlines in March 2016 with new music and a viral video to accompany it. The video to the song, "Hold My Hand," looks more like a pixelated video game than anything else. In the video, Lee Hi sports a number of fun outfits in bright colors to complement the cartoons around her.

Meanwhile, some artists are more focused on staying in the news with teasers, rather than full music videos. In March 2016, the band BTOB also took over the media with video clips, previewing its comeback to music. Some of these teasers featured floating cherry blossoms and dramatic angles of BTOB in coffee shops and cars.

J-Pop, K-Pop, and the Asian pop music scene has been appearing more frequently in the Western world. Even Hollywood stars, such as Actress Emma Stone, have grown fascinated with the music and its artists.

"I don't even know how to describe it, it's just so addictive," Stone said in an interview on Conan O'Brien's late night show.

Stone was also able to name her favorite bands - 2NE1 and Girls' Generation - when prompted on the program.

"It's a global phenomenon," the actress told O'Brien. "It's beyond excellent. It's the best thing you've ever seen."
