AT&T announced Wednesday that it is accepting pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and 8.4 online and in all its stores. Pre-orders will be accepted starting Sept. 17, with shipping beginning around Sept. 23. Full retail sales will start on Sept. 26 in AT&T stores and website.

The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 will be available for $31.50 for 20 months, $529 with a two-year contract, and $629 without an annual commitment. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4, on the other hand, will cost $26.50 a month for a 20-month commitment, $429 on a two-year contract, and $529 without a contract. Charges for wireless service plans will be added on top of these costs. Both tablets are available in Charcoal Gray.

Starting Sept. 17 as well and until supplies last, AT&T will also give customers the opportunity to save 50 percent off of the price of a Samsung Tab S keyboard with every purchase of a Galaxy Tab S 10.5 or Galaxy Tab S 8.4.

While the tablets differ in display size, both feature Super AMOLED screens offering clear, vibrant pictures for a superb viewing experience. Both are also slim and sleek at just 0.26 inches thick, making the tablets easy and comfortable to hold. The Galaxy Tab S 10.5, however, weighs 1.03lbs while the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 checks in at 0.45lbs.

As for features, the Galaxy Tab S tablets are fitted with Exynos 5 Octa Core processors and 3GB of RAM to optimize the use of the Multi-window feature which allows for users to multi-task with two windows open simultaneously. Want to watch a video while creating a word document? That's possible with Multi-window technology.

For security, the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Galaxy Tab S 8.4 can be unlocked using fingerprints. If multiple people are using a tablet, the fingerprint scanner will also unlock user profiles to create personalized settings.

AT&T boasts of having the most reliable 4G LTE network in the country covering over 300 million Americans. For the third time in a row too, the carrier was recognized as the top-ranking wireless service provider in terms of overall purchasing experience according to J.D. Power. The carrier also offers the largest range of Samsung devices. Aside from the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and 8.4, AT&T also carries the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and the Note Pro 12.2.
