Pumpkin spice is quickly becoming a problem. What started as a delicious "limited time" coffee flavor has spiraled out of control. Now we have pumpkin spice Oreos, pumpkin spice Pringles and pumpkin spice M&Ms all set to dominate our fall.

When will it end?

Not until every type of food imaginable has been infected with pumpkin spice flavor, thanks to the shadowy industry that is Big Pumpkin. Next up: pumpkin cheeseburgers.

This latest pumpkin spice monstrosity comes from food blog PornBurger, a blog dedicated to taking intimate pictures of juicy hunks of beef thrown between two buns.

What exactly does the "Pumpkin Spice Fatte Burger," as it is officially called, have on it? It begins with a grass fed, coffee rubbed beef patty slathered in pumpkin aioli, before being topped off with caramelized onions, tomato, cilantro, arugula and pumpkin spice duck bacon, all smooshed together between a brioche bun. It's like a pumpkin spice latte, plus a burger. Like all good pumpkin spiced products, the Pumpkin Spice Fatte Burger doesn't actually include any real pumpkin. That would be gross.

Putting it all together, this pumpkin spice burger actually sounds like it might be good. Looking at all the other pumpkin spice themed foods flooding the market, it is more than a little surprising that one of America's many hamburger chains (McDonald's, Burger King, Red Robin) have yet to cash in on the official flavor of fall with a pumpkin spice burger of their own. That's probably for the best, as it wouldn't have a chance of sounding anywhere near as good as the gourmet burger above.

Pornburger has a history of crafting and photographing completely over-the-top (and completely mouth-watering) burger creations like the Pumpkin Spice Fatte. Just look at this "Game of Thrones" inspired Kaleesi Burger or any of the other puntastic hamburger creations featured on the site. The Pumpkin Spice Fatte in comparison looks fairly tame.

Pumpkin spice will likely continue to spread until it has consumed the entire planet. Pumpkin spice bagels. Pumpkin spice waffles. Pumpkin spice Hershey's Kisses. Pumpkin spice gum. There is no end in sight, and it only grows stronger every year. There is no fighting it. Instead, maybe we should all focus on trying to make pumpkin spiced foods as good as they can possibly be, and just be happy that pumpkin spice only reigns supreme for a few months out of the year.
