Pokémon Sun and Moon might be coming out in November, but if recent developments are any indication, it's possible that fans will be able to play the game ahead of time. The Korean Ratings Board has given the "special trial," or demo, version of the game an E (Everyone) rating, suggesting that Sun and Moon will be getting a demo version before its full release.

Of course, there are two problems with this latest development. The first is that only Korea has rated the demo version thus far, meaning that there is a chance that other regions won't be getting a demo of their own (however unlikely that may be). Second, Nintendo has yet to make any kind of announcement about the matter, so it's possible that Korea is simply getting ahead of itself and there is no Sun and Moon demo to speak of.

News of the Korean Ratings Board's move comes courtesy of Serebii, the go-to website for anything and everything Pokémon, which announced the development on its Twitter account.

With that said, the all-important question is whether Sun and Moon will actually be getting a demo. Though Nintendo has yet to officially announce it, the chances are high that Sun and Moon will have one. As you might recall, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire both got demo versions one month before the official release, which granted players special bonuses that could be transferred to the main game.

Notably, the demo allowed players to encounter Mega Glalie (Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea) or Mega Steelix (Japan), which could then be transferred across to the main game. In addition, items like Poké Balls, Heal Balls, Heart Scales and a Nugget could be unlocked upon completing the demo multiple times.

Therefore, it stands to reason that Sun and Moon would be getting one as well. Of course, special precautions will likely be taken so that the demo doesn't get datamined and subsequently spoil the main game like with Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

So, if this demo really is coming, then when will it be officially announced? Sept. 6 would be a good place to start, since that is when the latest info for Sun and Moon comes in. Beyond that, any time before October would be good (so as to allow players to have a month with the game before its November release date).

Pokémon Sun and Moon will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in North America, Australia and New Zealand on Nov. 18 and in Europe on Nov. 23.
