Today is National Cat Day, and the Internet is obviously bursting with joy. But what better day than today to stop looking at cute cat GIFs for once and start experiencing the real thing.

For today only, Uber has partnered with the ASPCA and the cat meme-filled website CHEEZburger to repeat its on-demand cat service UberKITTENS in several cities across America. Just go to your handy dandy Uber app like you would normally do to order a ride, navigate to the options located in the righthand corner and choose the "Uber Kittens" icon. If a kitten is available, an Uber driver will bring one to your front door faster than you can say "Awww."

When your UberKITTEN arrives, you get 15 minutes of "snuggles + swag," according to the description in the app. Deliveries run from noon to 4 p.m. today, and each visit costs $30, but you can donate more if you want. Uber guarantees that 100 percent of the profits will go to shelters in participating cities, which include New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Austin, Washington, D.C., Seattle and Phoenix.

This special campaign is intended to promote cat adoption from shelters rather than getting cats from breeders, which is a great cause indeed. I can only imagine the cute and cuddly felines Uber will deliver, but I think we can all agree that it'd be pretty sweet if these kittens showed up at our doors.

No matter what kind of cat Uber brings to you, I'm sure it will be purr-fect. (Sorry.)
