With the exception of sometimes eating pizza in bed (you know you've done it), pizza and sleepytimes are usually kept a part. But that's not the way it has to be.

Pizza lovers of the world can rejoice because there is now a way to combine everyone's favorite food with everyone's favorite pastime. Brooklyn-based art director Claire Manganiello has created a Pizza Bed. That's right. A. Pizza. Bed. Just let the thought of it waft over you for a minute.

OK, so it's not actually a bed made out of pizza. That would be too surreal and awesome to ever exist, at least in the practical sense. No, no. The Pizza Bed is really just a great name for a bedding set that includes "a cheesy duvet, saucy sheets and crusty pillows." The project is currently ordering up backers through a newly launched Kickstarter campaign.

Manganiello brilliantly came up with the idea for this bedding set that looks good enough to eat while imagining cozying up inside a real-life piece of pizza at about 3 a.m. on a Sunday morning, you know, the time when the best ideas come to fruition. Later that morning, she took to Photoshop to turn a photo of a bed into a pizza slice, a sight that got picked up by the likes of BuzzFeed and Mashable earlier this year.

Now, the Pizza Bed will hopefully become a reality, and we should all be thankful for that. If this Kickstarter campaign is successfully funded, the Pizza Bed will be shipped in a custom box fit for a piping hot pizza pie. Each set will include a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, a duvet cover and two standard pillow cases that all resemble a slice of cheesy, saucy, crunchy goodness. The Pizza Bed comes in twin, full/queen and king sizes and will cost $150, $175 and $200, respectively.

With 28 days left for the Kickstarter campaign, the Pizza Bed has raised more than $3,000 of its nearly $126,000 goal. If the goal is exceeded, Manganiello may also create "vegetarian options" and other toppings as throw pillows, she told Mashable in an interview. A customizable Pizza Bed is all I've ever wanted.
