With 2015 setting in, people are looking at new challenges to push themselves in the coming year -- resolutions that will bring a positive change in their lives. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg who learned Mandarin in 2014 is now crowdsourcing ideas for his 2015 personal challenge on Facebook.

Zuckerberg has taken to the social media site to brainstorm with users on ideas for a personal challenge. In the past, Zuckerberg has challenged himself to wear a tie everyday, become a vegetarian, write thank you notes to an individual who made the world a better place, and meeting someone new ach day who did not work at his company.

The Facebook CEO revealed that each year he took on a challenge in a bid to broaden his perspectives, as well as "learn something about the world beyond my work at Facebook,"

"At our last town hall Q&A, someone asked me what my challenge will be for the new year and I said I'd love ideas from our community. I have an idea of what my next challenge might be, but I'm open to more ideas before the new year officially begins," notes Zuckerberg on his Facebook page.

Zuckerberg's call for ideas for his personal challenge have met with an overwhelming response and some crazy ideas! Interestingly Zuckerberg has responded to the deluge of ideas flooding his post.

Here are some ideas users have suggested as a personal challenge for Zuckerberg"

"Plant a tree for every new facebook user that joins in 2015. Name the tree after the user," says Ryan O'Connor.

To which Zuckerberg replied "That would be a lot of new trees."

"Learn to cook and only eat dinners that you've made. A new skill and good excuse to be home for dinner," says Kate Arnowitz.

"Pay off a person's student loan everyday  Or one person a week. #AGirlCanHope #RandomActsOfKindness," suggested someone.

Another user suggests Zuckerberg "Spend an hour a week in a K-12 classroom teaching and learning about anything but Facebook!" To which he says he already did the same in 2014.

"Record and release one hip-hop album by the end of the year" suggests Dave Goldblatt.

If Zuckerberg did take the musical route we wonder if he'd still have the Midas touch! Alternately, if he could give in to the wacky "Train and go to the South Pole" suggestion.

Another user teases Zuckerberg to focus on his married life and make a baby.

With over 3,580 shares, 1,39,185 likes and innumerable suggestions already, Mark Zuckerberg has plenty of options at his disposal. It will be interesting to see which personal challenge he finally accepts!
