Just three weeks after the launch of The Dark Below, Destiny's first expansion, players are already making the final boss fight seem like peanuts -- and without cheating to boot!

Several teams have uploaded their total anihalation of the final boss on YouTube, the shootout lasting less than 90 seconds for most. A gamer by the name of Gamesager uploaded the handiwork of his six-person team defeating the boss in 61 seconds, a record he claims is the fastest Crota kill thus far.

According to Gamesager, they used a strategy they came up with early on.

"We figured out how to spawn 2 swordbearers at one time at the very start of the Crota fight. So we made a tutorial video, and a world record Crota kill in 61 seconds," the player said.

The team simply killed the initial Swordbearer, whose weapon is the only one that can damage Crota, before the door beneath him opens. The door will reveal a second Swordbearer who will spawn a second sword when slain.

With this strategy, Gamesager's team was able to destroy Crota's sheild and wipe him out completely in just two cycles.

Reports say that the play is easily repeatable and the original team even made a POV tutorial of their epic win available online for other players who want to try to re-enact their epic 61-second Crota kill record -- half the time it would take an average team to defeat Crota.

If you're one of those players who feel Destiny's first expansion is starting to seem like a walk in the park, don't get too comfortable yet. Later this month, Bungie has plans to unlock hard mode on The Dark Below to give players a whole new level of challenges.
