Unnamed Flagship 5G Smartphone

Part of the announcement is Oppo's plan to launch an unidentified flagship 5G-enabled smartphone in which Snapdragon 865 Mobile Platform will power during the first quarter of 2020. The company said that OPPO would be among the first companies to do so. It added it would indeed be interesting to see who is the first-ever to introduce a Snapdragon 865 phone among all the Chinese manufacturers of smartphones. Meizu and Xiami are both racing to be the first, but the real winner will be whose smartphone is available in the market first, rather than the one who first made the announcement.

According to OPPO, its flagship smartphone is set to bring better gaming, camera, and artificial intelligence (AI) experiences with enhanced performance courtesy of the Snapdragon 865 Mobile Platform. The company revealed plans, too, of announcing more 5G products later on. In relation to this, power users will definitely be glad to know that the all-new Snapdragon X55 5G Modem-RF System by Qualcomm that is part of the SD 865 Mobile platform is impressively fast. How fast? According to its developer, via the geardiary.com, this platform can have "speeds of up to 7.5 Gbps.

With the speeds the SD 865, it means that under ideal circumstances, the flagship platform can surpass the majority of the wired connections. Additionally, the 5G AI Engine, as well as the Sensing Hub of Qualcomm, as a part of the SD 865 Mobile Platform, according to Gear Diary, are said to be "smarter than ever" and offer more personalization and intelligence than ever before. However, the new platform is not just about AI and power. It also includes an ultra-fast "Qualcomm Spectra 480 Image Signal Processor (ISP)."

Meanwhile, smartphone cameras have shown remarkable improvements in previous years, and the SD 865 processor will be quite a nice compliment to recent enhancements of hardware. More so, for better mobile videography and photography, this platform provides speed too, a maximum of 2 gigapixels per second. Lastly, Qualcomm was aware that there is a need for them to do more than simply satisfy mobile photographers and power users. Meaning, the mobile gaming world is also part of the plan from which Qualcomm needs to satisfy. Fortunately, with the Snapdragon platform, satisfaction and contentment won't be impossible to achieve.
