Challenging other people in a race battle is now made more extreme and fun as Forza Horizon 4, an open world racing video game, produced by Microsoft and developed by Playground Games, recently released its first trailer for 'The Eliminator.'

Gamers of Forza Horizon 4 can now expect more challenging and death-defying stunts from the game's different set of cars as this game produced its own version of 'Battle Royale.' What does this mean for you? Here's what.

Battle Royale on Forza Horizon 4

Battle Royale or the fight among many competitors, is just one of the surprising announcements of Playground Games. This additional feature can be accessed by Forza's fans without any additional charges starting on Dec. 12. Just like any other video games such as Fortnite and PUBG, Forza Horizon 4 will now take the wheels on battling gamers all over the world against each other.

However, not all fans were totally surprised by Microsoft's announcement since hints of the said 'The Eliminator' was already shown all over the world of Forza through NPC box trucks. This made a fuss online on what is the real meaning behind 'The Eliminator' on the game. Finally, we now have an answer.

With its title 'The Eliminator,' the video game will challenge 72 race car drivers to fight against each other in the long roads of the British countryside. Players must engage in a spontaneous gaming experience among each other and battle head-to-head until the finish line. However, once you're dead, there's no turning back.

How Will the Game Begin and End?

In the game mode, every gamer will start using a 1965 Mini Cooper but can easily upgrade their vehicles through grabbing car drops scattered all over the game. However, if you're looking for faster upgrades, challenging your opponents can be a one-way ticket to earn better upgrades or even taking over their own car.

Of course, this also means that once you lose, your Battle Royale car will be taken over by your opponent-- leaving you out in the battle. Initially, the game will set a randomly generated races all over the game but once Forza Horizon 4 has its circle of survivors from the 72 players-- all surviving players will be summoned to challenge one another in a race to death event wherein the winner takes it all. This game can be played through Xbox One and Microsoft 10.

Is this a New Feature on Forza Horizon 4?

Technically, battle royale is no longer a new platform used in Forza Horizon 4. Though the game produced its own version of play modes over the years with its Infected and Survival, 'The Eliminator' was said to be more extreme compared to its past player modes.

Will there be Additional Changes in the Game?

Absolutely! Aside from the main concept of Battle Royale itself, Playground Games also aims to give more with the game's another mini-campaign with unlockable rewards, including the 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator, the 2008 Renault Mégane R26 R, and the 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Pre-Order Edition.
