Baseus may not precisely be a household name or a popular brand. However, this Chinese manufacturer has recently introduced a new accessory designed for an Android smartphone that's perhaps, one of today's most unappreciated products on the market. The item is referred to as a docking station, doubling as a mobile phone holder. It is priced at only $37.99, which, as reported on TechRadar, can be bought at Gearbest "by using the voucher code, GBSJ4603435, upon checkout.

The primary function of this latest gadget from Baseus, as described still on TechRadar, is to charger a phone. It can also connect the device to a 4K monitor, a memory card, and up to 3 USB devices. Despite the things it can do to a smartphone, this Baseus docking station does not function as a wireless charger. One needs to have a compatible smartphone, as well, to make the most of this accessory. ALSO

Easy Set-Up

Setting up this docking station is so simple. All the user needs to do is plug the USB into a plug or laptop device. Then, once plugged in, simply mount the device on the docking station, and it should start charging. If charging is unsuccessful, it is important to ensure that the device or plug the user is plugging the USB in, is switched on. The main objective of the Baseus docking station is to offer the user a comfortable and convenient way of charging his or her gadgets. It also lets one elevate his or her phone from other surfaces, which stop the mobile device from the risk of overheating or being scratched.

Inspecting the whole docking station itself, you will discover that it features a pressure mounted sleeve in which the mobile phone can sit perfectly around. In addition, the charging station itself appears to be designed with exceptionally durable plastic. It also has a smooth feel, as well as a silicon-style suction that prevents the gadget from falling over.

Compatible Models

At present, the compatible models working with the Baseus docking station are the Samsung S series and Note family, and the Huawei Mate range, and P-series. Tech reviewers have tried the latest Note 10, and they claim they could undoubtedly get the Android desktop to function flawlessly like the Samsung DEX. The phone is just warning every user, though, that he is using a non-standard accessory.

When the Baseus docking station gets connected to a 4K monitor, it performs seamlessly and delivers up to 15W power to the device. Another impressive feature is that anyone with this new Baseus product can use the split-screen function, allowing him to use the mobile phone separately for calls sans all the interruptions. He can also mirror the phone screen on a bigger one, or, use a mouse and keyboard as if he is using a Windows 10 or Chrome OS device. In other words, a smartphone can turn into a desktop PC through the use of a Baseus docking station.
