Riot Games' League of Legends, or LOL to its faithful fans, has received another update. Patch 10.10 is here, and some of the game's champions have been reworked to help balance the game, although some heroes would definitely rise to the top of the solo queue with this new patch.

New League of Legends Content

Nevertheless, LOL patch 10.10 is headlined by the new content it offers instead of balance changes, according to Dexerto.

Among the new content included in the update are several new skins, which consists of a Prestige edition, for Ekko, Lucian, Pantheon, and Fiora as part of the Pulsefire 2020 event.

In addition, astronaut skins for Gnar, Bard, and Poppy are also coming soon, according to the news outlet.

Reworked Champions

However, it's fair to say that many League of Legends players is excited to hear who gets nerfed and who gets buffed--and as some would guess, mid-lane powerhouses have been toned down while underdogs have been strengthened.

There are a handful of champions that have been reworked, and the game's official Twitter page posted a full list of the heroes that received changes.

Among them is Soraka, which Riot Games buffed again despite her 51.66% win rate.

Soraka should be able to stay healthy while laning, as the developers worked on her health refund on her W, has been significantly increased to 80% at rank 1. Additionally, her Q damage has been increased by 10 at all ranks.

Besides Soraka, Sivir, Annie, Udyr, Nidalee, Irelia, and Twisted Fate have all been buffed in patch 10.10, which is no surprise to many as they have been underperforming.

Meanwhile, mid-laners Katarina and Diana, along with other champions, have been nerfed, which is also not a surprise.

Diana will be losing some of her health from 594 to 570, as well as her attack damage from 57.04 down to 57 only, as per the patch notes courtesy of Dot Esports.

Katarina, on the other hand, lost some of her passive damage to reduce her burst and allow her opponents to outplay her Sinister Blade.

Other heroes being nerfed are Miss Fortune, Taric, Kayn, Maokai, and Kled.
