Having to wear a pair of eyeglasses while wearing a mask is surely a challenge amid coronavirus. Its either you will not wear a mask, or the eyeglasses will turn foggy as you breathe. Luckily, there are many hacks to make you comfortable as you put a face mask and a pair of eyeglasses.

Hack: How to stop annoying foggy eyeglasses while wearing a mask?

If you're one of the millions getting annoyed wearing a mask while putting a pair of eyeglasses, here are some hacks that you can do.

Fix your surgical face mask and fit it above your nose bridge

Make sure to position your mask properly for the first step in making you comfortable while wearing eyeglasses and a mask. For example, if you're specifically wearing a surgical face mask, check the nose clip (the hard part above the face mask) and seal it around your face.

This way, the air that you breathe would be sealed above your nose, and not on the eyeglasses.

Put a tissue inside the top of the mask

Another way to stop foggy eyeglasses while wearing a face mask is to put a tissue inside the top of the mask. Just in case you're not wearing a surgical face mask with a hard-end on its above part, it is easier to put a tissue at the top of the mask. With this, you will be sure that the air you breathe will not be fogging up your glasses.

Shaving cream

Have you heard about shaving cream's ability to remove the fog inside your eyeglasses? Yup, it can be done! Just dot a drop of the thick cream on your lenses, rub your glasses dry with a towel, and wipe them down to remove the cream.

A simple explanation behind this is it clears your glasses out of condensation.

Wash your glasses with soapy water

Just like how the shaving cream changes the condensation level on your glasses, the soapy water also helps to do the same thing.

First, wash your glasses with water and soap. One thing to keep in mind during this process is that your eye doctor might not like this procedure. It is not recommended to wash your glasses with soap since it can cause smearing, but it does a huge deal to prevent the fog from happening again.

Once you wash the lenses with soapy water, a thin film from the soap will develop inside your lenses. In this way, the water molecules will spread out evenly on your glasses.

And that's how you solve those foggy eyeglasses.
