Closed stores on July 3

To lessen your time researching which stores are open or not, here are some of the stores that are said to be closed from Friday until the Fourth of July.

All government offices are expected to be close in the holidays and the day before that. Same as the public libraries and financial markets.

What happened on the Fourth of July?

All Americans know what the fourth of July means. Its the day when America was declared as an independent nation. July 4, 1776, was the exact date of the very first declaration of America's Independence Day.

"July 4, 1776, became the date that was included on the Declaration of Independence, and the fancy handwritten copy that was signed in August (the copy now displayed at the National Archives in Washington, D.C.) It's also the date that was printed on the Dunlap Broadsides, the original printed copies of the Declaration that were circulated throughout the new nation. So when people thought of the Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776, was the date they remembered," explained Constitution Facts.

For now, Americans surely have a different Independence Day in the middle of lockdown.
