Lin Manuel-Miranda's Hamilton is a masterpiece

Hamilton is the story of the ambitious founding father, Alexander Hamilton, who was determined to make his mark on the new nation. He was an orphan to Washington's right-hand man, rebel to a war hero, a loving husband caught in the country's first sex scandal, and was the Treasury head who made an untrusting world believe in the American economy.

George Washington, Eliza Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson and Hamilton's lifelong friend Aaron Burr all make their mark in this breathtaking new musical exploration of a political mastermind.

Will Hamilton's explicit language be censored?

Creator and star Lin Manuel-Miranda confirmed that the movie would censor the F-word. Hamilton has a PG-13 viewer rating that suggests that the musical's cuss words and sexual content could remain but will receive a warning before the show begins.

However, because Disney Plus is a family-friendly streaming service, there's been concern over the material, specifically songs containing The F-Word and more explicit scenes.
