We all have old posts from Facebook, which we are probably uncomfortable with now. Yet when we change or entirely delete our privacy settings, they'll only be there for the public. The good news is that Facebook lets you delete all of this content in bulk by adding the Manage Activity tool. The feature makes it much easier for you to curate content that best reflects who you are today.

Manage Activity tool helps you filter all your posts by content type, date, or even the people tagged in it. You can either archive your entries or give them to the trash after sorting them all out. The bulk delete/archive feature is currently only available on the Facebook mobile devices (Android, iOS, and Lite) before we get started. So, before you start, make sure you have one of the models.

Archive or delete Facebook posts in bulk

The procedure for deleting old posts is similar to the three platforms. This is a bonus, then. Here's how to do it.

1. Open the Facebook app on your phone.

2. Get to your profile and tap on the three-dot menu.

3. Go to Activity Log > Manage Activity and tap on the popup that says Your Posts.

All posts archived or deleted will appear as labels in sections of Your Posts. To show your archived or deleted articles, tap those names.

Facebook will hold your posts for 30 days in the trash if you have removed a post by mistake and want to restore it. It's a bummer there's no way on Facebook's web site to bulk delete articles.

Manage Operation began rolling out last month for Facebook's mobile devices. Hopefully, the desktop feature will soon be rolled out by the company.

Limit your old Facebook posts

If you have lots of posts to hide and just want your Timeline to be limited, then this step is for you.

Go to "Settings" on your computer, then "Security," then "Limit Past Postings."

The procedure will warn you to convert all your public posts to private ones.

If you're all right with this, then again press the button, and all the public posts will now be for your friends only.

That might be helpful if you don't want to see your old pictures or reviews from potential employers.

On your smartphone app, go to "Settings & Privacy > Privacy Shortcuts."

You will find the "Review a few important privacy settings" option under the Privacy section is the option.

Here you can click "Who can see what you share" and you'll be given some limiting options.

How to hide a Facebook post from your Timeline

If you don't want to delete a post altogether but don't want to see it by other people, you can hide it from view.

Click on the ellipsis and pick the "Hide from Timeline" link to scroll to the article you want to hide.

You may also hide the post from selecting people by clicking "Edit audience" on the desktop or "Edit privacy" on your mobile applications.
