The Johnny Depp and Amber Heard controversy have not yet ended. Now, other personalities have joined the issue such as tech billionaire Elon Musk and former boxer Mickey Rourke. The ex-boxer lay down the terms of the scheduled fight between him and the tech billionaire-- in a $200,000 stake bare-knuckle battle. Here's what happened.

Why is Rourke challenging Musk in a fight?

If you have heard the story between the former couple Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, another twist is expected to come soon.

Former boxer Mickey Rourke is now joining the battle against Musk as one of the friends of Depp. The fight between Musk and Depp first started when Depp accused Musk of having an affair with his, at the time, current wife, actress Amber Heard. The actress happens to be a close friend of Musk and denies all the claims of her former husband.

Of course, Musk also denied it himself by saying that he never had an affair with Heard during the time when she was together with Johnny. He also insists Johnny to 'bury the hatchet' between the conflict between them.

However, it did not stop there. Musk claims that Johnny scared Heard in a text message that says the actor will personally dismantle Musk's private part from his body. The billionaire saw this as a threat and warned Depp, "If Johnny wants a cage fight, just let me know."

Certainly, Depp won't be accepting the challenge since he had all the filed cases against him in court. However, a friend of his aims to give him a show to fight against Musk.

Rourke vs. Musk

On Monday, July 27, Rourke posted on his Instagram account that he will be willing to take in the position of Depp regarding the challenge of Musk. He called Musk as 'Mr. Tough Guy' that can't fight his own size.

According to his social media account, if Depp wouldn't fight Musk, Rourke will love to fight in replacement for him. With the conditions of 'no rules,' use 'bare fists, elbows and knees,' and a $200,000 stake that the winner will take all.

So far, Musk has not yet commented on the new challenge. 

Amber Heard controversy against Depp

In 2015, former couples Heard and Depp got married. Unfortunately, it did not end well. A year ago after the private wedding, Heard filed a divorce from Depp and accused him of physical abuse. 

In 2019, Depp heard the side of the story and said that his wife was actually the one abusing him in the relationship. He insists that Heard told lies about the physical abuse claims. 

Now, Johnny wants to punish the publisher of The Sun, for a 2018-article calling him a 'wife-beater.' So far, the case is not yet finalized.
