An artist often encounters a wealth of outlooks on the world and gets introduced to a range of truly differing perceptions, ideas, and knowledge. The ability to take part in these local and global exchanges profoundly affects the artworks that an artist makes, driving him to create art that touches people everywhere. Working in 3D adds depth and realism at a level that's very hard to capture when creating in 2D. Visual artist Dangiuz believes in the transcendental power of the art that helps artists explore corners of human consciousness that we all recognize but do not know how to express in form. An artist perceives people and circumstances like everyone else, but what separates artists from the common being is their ability to develop insight from that perception and express it in the form, freshly and uniquely.

The art of Dangiuz focuses on the cyberpunk category. As defined by Wikipedia, cyberpunk is a subgenre of science fiction in a dystopian futuristic setting that tends to focus on a "combination of low-life and high-tech" featuring advanced technological and scientific achievements, such as artificial intelligence and cybernetics, juxtaposed with a degree of breakdown or radical change in the social order. Dangiuz believes that since we live in a fast-changing world, art is expected to go through revolutionary changes.

With advances in technology, art will be influenced by new forms and movements; it will represent life going through new forms of an emotional journey that is distinct from the earlier generations. The value of artists will always be on the rise, whether to produce visually impactful representation for large brands or to produce decorative pieces for personal pleasure. Dangiuz believes that with such evolution, the definition of art will also take on a whole new meaning. Anybody who can give ideas a fresh lease of meaning can be called an artist; an artist not necessarily has to be someone who possesses creative art skills; a person adept at computer programming can also be an artist because of his ability to express a unique idea and give it a shape and form for others to comprehend.

Foray Into the World of Visual Art

Hailing from Turin, Italy, Dangiuz was born under the name Leopoldo D'Angelo. When asked about the technology he uses to create his 3D art illustrations, he says that he uses Cinema 4D and Octane Render to create these environments and characters. He also uses Adobe Photoshop to post-produce his works, to enhance the contrast, saturation, and hue of his final product. He even uses other programs, such as DAZ, After Effects, and Premiere, when necessary.

Recounting his childhood days, Dangiuz was born a creative kid and loved drawing from an early age. He started doing graphics in 2009 and discovered 3D arts some years later. It was then that he realized the power of visual representation and communication using 3D art as a medium. The world of cinema and ideas of how he could contribute to the industry by using his creative ability to give birth to his visions also mesmerizes him.

Dangiuz represents the futuristic world that one would often associate with movies like Blade Runner, Altered Carbon, and Ghost In the Shell. Each of his artwork represents how humans interact with technology and vice versa. Through his art, he tries to depict a future where we, as mere mortals, will get completely enslaved by technology and lose our essence of life.
