The COVID-19 pandemic, caused by the novel coronavirus, is still ongoing across the globe, which restricts the people worldwide from coming out of their houses. When the virus began spreading, the world never became the same before.

However, the majority of people were able to adjust and know what they have to do to protect themselves and other individuals, including their families and friends. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is one of the agencies that is currently guiding the people on what to do.

CDC encourages people to wear face masks when going outside, use hand sanitizer, and wash their hands with soap for more than 20 seconds whenever they touch an object or surface in public. And now, CDC revised its guidelines and included a list of essential things that people should store during the ongoing pandemic.

Here are some of the essential items you must have during the COVID-19 crisis;

Disinfectant Wipes

Unlike hand sanitizers, hand soaps, and face masks, disinfectant wipes are hard to find in stores and even online. This item helps maintain people's healthy hygiene when going out, especially when water and soap are unavailable.

Paper Towels

This product, just like tissues, is also essential during the pandemic since it is used to wipe your hands or clean surfaces. Because paper towels never expire, you can stock them up while the supplies are still decent.

Hand Soap

This should be your first option before using a hand sanitizer. CDC suggests that people should use hand soap and water when they get home after going out to the public. It is advisable that you wash your hands for more than 20 seconds whenever possible.

No-Touch Trash Can

This item is what people would least think about during a pandemic. However, CDC suggests that "everyone" should have their own no-touch trash cans in their offices and homes, especially in those places where many people are likely to use the trash can.
