Fortnite Season 4 Week 8's Challenge is now proving to be a hassle to most players, particularly driving through a "rift" to complete one task in the game. Going through a rift may give players a hard time, but this will be an easy-peasy lemon squeezy task of yesterday with the right location and timing.
Epic Games' Fortnite rolled out a new weekly challenge that now tests several skills of players, apart from letting the bullets fly from each one's weapons. This time, Fortnite asks the players to complete a task that includes driving through one of the most impossible locations, a rift.
The new week's challenge moves away from the Marvel-themed season of Fortnite, planning to have a little longer than expected due to its massive success among games. The new list of tasks includes the rift-driving challenge for players, spread out across the map.
Rifts are tiny portals in the game that can teleport a player's avatar to the sky then having a free fall back to the surface. The game will allow the player to deploy their glider and get to various places faster than running or driving around by entering a rift.
Going through rifts are already tricky on foot, but Fortnite takes the challenge up a notch by incorporating a vehicle challenge with it. Driving through a rift would pose plenty of challenges for Fortnite players, so maximum efficiency and timing are needed for this to work.

Fortnite Season 4 Week 8 Challenge: How to Drive Through a Rift?
The steps to accomplishing the challenge are relatively short and straightforward. However, this guide would help one choose the perfect location and determine what method is best to use.
Finding Rifts
Finding rifts is relatively easy to accomplish as these portals are spread across the map and are quick to locate. Rifts are characterized by little "blue dots" on the map, all on a fixed location for a player to immediately locate. Compared to the regular mode, the rifts on these challenges are highlighted for players to find.
Players can choose their location for the rift; however, in this guide, the recommended rift is located on the "Misty Meadows" near the bridge that leads up to "Panther's Prowl." This location is also famous for the Marvel Cinematic Universe players and fans that pay tribute to the late actor Chadwick Boseman.
Driving Through Rifts
After locating the Misty Meadow's rift, it's time to find one's vehicle; it would not matter whether it is a car or a truck. Players would have no trouble locating a vehicle on the location as there are always spawns on the Misty Meadows. Vehicles may be located near the west side of the bridge or the fountain on the right side.
Line up the vehicle to the rift; however, one would need to create a ramp. This particular rift is floating and can only be driven into using a ramp. The trees surrounding the location would be enough to make a ramp. After building a simple ramp, players can now use it to rift across and accomplish the challenge.
