Although "Cyberpunk 2077" producers CD Projekt Red might not yet have been completely forgiven by fans for the nth time delay, news about the games' features and what else players can expect have still been hyping the release. The game is arguably still very popular and still follows a strong hype along with a strong fanbase as gamers just want the game to be out.

'Cyberpunk 2077' helps streamers with copyright music issues

Just like the popular livestreaming platforms say Twitch for example, mass deleting a number of video content as an immediate response towards an influx of certain DMCA takedown requests may happen. With that, CD Projekt Red, "Cyberpunk 2077's" developer is now giving players a direct solution for them to deal with this streaming problem regarding copyrighted music played in video games, according to Polygon.

The developer is said to roll out a new feature that allows players to optionally disable certain songs within "Cyberpunk 2077" in order for them to be able to avoid copyright strikes while they are livestreaming or even making videos that will include certain audio coming from the game. Although at first glance, this might not be a beneficial feature, for long-time streamers and those that have had experience with copyright issues particularly in the music division, this feature is very helpful.

'Cyberpunk 2077' streamer mode feature

According to the UK head of communications Hollie Bennet in her statement in the CD Projekt Red's latest uploaded Night City Wire presentation video, they are well aware that for a few content creators, the licensed music could become quite problematic. It was then stated that with this brand new mode, users will be able to easily disable a small number of different tracks that could potentially cause some issues. The players can then replace it with different songs in order to avoid any possible problems.

Bennett then stated that "Cyberpunk 2077" will directly disable those particular music tracks whenever a player streams from the given console version. The players, however, will easily be able to toggle the feature off or on. This is said to be the same for PC players as a legitimate game option according to Bennett.

Following the disappointment towards the previously expected release date, "Cyberpunk 2077" for Windows PC, Stadia, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 is said to roll out on December 10.
