Ubisoft gives away a free gift every day from December 14 to 18 for its 'Happy Holidays' event. The developer gets into the spirit of gift giving with free games and in-game loot and kicked off Ubisoft Giveaway 2020 with an "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" Rewards pack.

Ubisoft Giveaway 2020: 'Happy Holidays' giveaway event

Players who want to claim Ubisoft's giveaway offers just need to visit Ubisoft.com and click the "register now" button. They must log in to their Ubisoft account and they easily claim their free stuff. That is one gift per day or a total of five freebies from December 14 to 18!

For December 14, players may claim a free content bundle from "Assassin's Creed Valhalla." It includes the legendary Bayek outfit for Eivor and the Seafarer Settlement pack. According to PC Gamer, these free items are available on all platforms and can be claimed within 24 hours from 8 a.m. ET to 8 a.m. ET the following day.

For those who do not have "Assassin's Creed Valhalla," they may still claim the gift and use it later once they get the game. However, for those who missed the freebies will no longer be able to claim it in the future, so it is better to grab everything whenever a free item is available.

Ubisoft Giveaway 2020 gives out free contents and games during the event. While free games are being offered only on PC, in-game contents such as the Valhalla pack will be delivered on the platform where players have it. However, Ubisoft has not kept the details on the free games yet.

The "Happy Holidays" event will run until December 19.

Netizens report having issues logging into their Ubisoft account

As players are excited to register and claim their freebie, some of them are having trouble logging in to their Ubisoft account.

Twitter user @HFXDronePilot replied to Ubisoft's 'Happy Holidays' announcement saying his screen froze as he was trying to login to his account on his Xbox. Another user @IamKingFluffy he is also having the same issues.

In response, the developer advised these users to try connecting with another device or network connection, "or just try again a bit later on to see if that helps."

@HFXDronePilot gave an update later that he tried to connect using his laptop and he was able to connect to Ubisoft and register for the Ubisoft Giveaway 2020 event. However, he has not tried using a mobile phone.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft had is enjoying a strong yearend for 2020 with the launch of "Watch Dogs Legion" by the end of October, "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" arrived in mid-November, and "Immortals: Fenyx Rising" launched in December 3. While all three games are getting great reviews, "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" has been getting much game engagements with its next-generation visuals, brutal combat, and expansive world.
