'Assassin's Creed Valhalla': Weapons Available for Players and How to Use Them

A variety of weapons is available for players on "Assassin's Creed Valhalla". You cans stick with the one that you were given at the beginning of the game or you can switch to must better ones.

Here are the weapons that are available:

Bearded Axe

A bearded axe is the first weapon you will come across. It is a single-handed weapon and it is a favorite among Vikings centuries ago. This weapon is perfect for players who want more balanced playstyle because it does a bit of damage but it is fast, according to AssassinsCreedFandom.

Flail

One of the best parts of the game and are fun to use, flail is a single-handed weapon that you can swing around in the air. It does a bit of damage to surrounding opponents. It can cause desynchronization though if there are a lot of civilians standing nearby because of the way that the weapon works.

Daggers

The fastest one-handed weapon on the list and it is use by an opponent known as a reaver. Reaver's utilize daggers to take small jabs at you that will slowly deplete your health. Massive hits might not create much damage, but if dodging is your strength then this is the perfect weapon for you.

Greatsword

The Greatsword is a two-handed weapon, but it lacks in speed. However, it does a great deal of damage. The overall weight is not terrible and some runes can help reduce this to help make Eivor faster in a battle.

Dane Axe

A Dane Axe is another classic weapon that Vikings use and it requires two hands to use it. This dual wield weapon gives you a special ability to mow down an opponent's health. It comes in handy when you prefer weapons that deal more damage compared to speed.

Spear

A spear is a two-handed weapon, but it is the fastest of them all because you can do quick jabs from a distance. It is faster than some hammers on the list and players love how it can put distance between them and their opponent during a battle, according to IGN.

Hunter bow

A hunter bow is useful for hunting down animals but it can also be used in a battle. It is very balanced and perfect for players who are looking for something that can deal with a decent amount of damage and is not very slow.

Predator Bow

The predator bow deals more damage to an opponent than a light bow, but it is not fast. The view that Eivor has when shooting a predator bow is different too, which can turn players away from choosing to wield this weapon. You will also be required to carry fewer arrows when using this weapon, so it is something else to consider before you choose to use it.

Light Bow

Although it does not do enough damage, it is fast. Light bows are perfect for players who can hit their shots as firing a succession of multiple arrows will deal more damage than the time it takes you to shoot the same amount of shots from the others.

Light Shield

A light shield gives you protection and it can deal with some damage. Light shields don't slow you down either. If you are a master at parrying then this weapon is for you. It can enhance your play as it adds a new way to defend yourself but it won't make you as fast if you were just wielding two daggers.

Heavy Shield

This shield is massive and heavy. It can deal with bigger attacks and deal quite a bit of attack damage, but because of its weight, it can slow a player down, according to Game Pressure.
