When Keanu Reeves was announced to play Johnny Silverhand, one of the most iconic characters in "Cyberpunk 2077", fans started to go nuts! Johnny Silverhand 'Cyberpunk 2077' role

Johnny was originally the lead singer of the band called Samurai which is actually one of the most influential figures known to rebel against the corporations. His main mission in "Cyberpunk 2077" is to totally take down Arasaka.

Johnny Silverhand is critical to "Cyberpunk 2077's" whole story and will also act as V's main guide to Night City. V can have interactions with Johnny Silverhand and players will be able to see the different facets of Johnny Silverhand's personality which are based on V's main decisions or V's dialogue choices. Johnny Silverhand, as mentioned earlier, was a pretty influential rockstar that had a military past. He was said to have previously died a long long time ago. However, he still comes back to haunt V.

Johnny fist entered the military at a really young age but then deserted them when he learned more about their corruption.

Can Johnny Silverhand be romanced?

For those curious as to if Johnny Silverhand can be romanced or not, he is actually not available as a Romance Option to V despite which gender chosen according to the story reported by Game8.

However, since "Cyberpunk 2077" has yet to be fully discovered as there are still a number of glitches and "unexplored" options, there could be maybe a slight possibility of this being possible.

Johnny Silverhand's effect on the 'Cyberpunk 2077' ending

Unlike other characters, Johnny Silverstein being a main character actually means that he definitely has quite a large amount of influence in the whole "Cyberpunk 2077" story as a whole. The main choices that players make during the game can actually have an effect and can culminate in the unlocking of a said secret final mission where players get to storm the famed Arasaka tower alone in order to get to the Mikoshi and also separate themselves from Johnny Silverhand for good.

In this particular ending, as well as on the other Panam or Rogue routes, players can also decide as to whether to give Johnny Silverhand complete control over their own body. This results to what is called the Temperance ending.

In order to be able to unlock the two of the other "regular" endings in "Cyberpunk 2077", players would simply need to complete all of the optional questlines that involve Panam and Johnny or Rogue, according to an article by Eurogamer. In doing so, this will add two more additional options. Logically, players would have to basically finish every optional quest in order to get the most out of the game.

Here are 3 different ending options:

  • Arasaka's risky - Completing this will help players unlock the known "The Devil" Trophy or Achievement
  • Panam's help - First complete Panam's side quest chain then start with Lightning Breaks as well as the ending in Queen of the Highway.
  • Rogue should go - This can be unlocked by completing both Johnny and Rogue's questline from the Tapeworm and the ending in Blistering Love.
