Samsung JetBot 90 AI+ specs and features
According to Engadget, the Korean tech giant introduced the state-of-the-art Samsung JetBot 90 AI+ is a vacuum cleaner equipped with 3D and LiDAR sensors to map out an optimal cleaning path. It can navigate around small objects and cables as well as reach corners and other areas at home.
The JetBot 90 AI+ also boasts other highly advanced features like artificial intelligence to avoid obstacles, a LiDAR sensor to create an efficient cleaning map, and it could even empty its dustbin on its own. Aside from removing floor dusts, it can also clean up dusts in the air, which makes it a great feature to prevent humans to suffer from allergies.
The JetBot 90 AI+ is powered by an advanced digital inverter motor, which maximizes its Jet Cyclone system's 30W suction power to trap dirt and dust from the air and floor. The unit also uses self-cleaning brush with soft woven fine fibers to pick up dust from hard floor.
According to PC Mag, the Samsung JetBot 90 AI+ has a 3D sensor that can detect small objects and fragile items on the floor as well as other things to avoid "classified as dangerous" and may "cause secondary contamination" such as pet waste, although Samsung did not specifically indicate how the robot can avoid it.
The JetBot 90 AI+ can also be used as a home monitoring device using the device's SmartThings integration and camera. It also works with the Samsung SmartThings app, which allows people access the robot's integrated camera and monitor the entire house and pets via the smart phone.
The app also allows scheduling cleaning sessions and even designate "no-go zones" where the robot should avoid while cleaning.
