Will Makris has been a hospitality and marketing staple in New York for the past decade. Getting his start in the high-end nightlife scene working for TAO, Butter, and Provocateur, Makris eventually transitioned to the restauranteur life. After working at establishments like Cipriani, Makris became more of an entrepreneur and joined Cobi Levy's Broken Coconut venture.

Now, Makris and Levy are at it again with their newest endeavor Lola Taverna. Lola Taverna is an upscale Greek restaurant touting a sleek design, a unique menu, and a perfect location in Soho. Under Makris's and Levy's leadership, Lola Taverna is reaching new heights and has a packed house every night, despite the pandemic.

According to Levy, "Will is my perfect complement. Will's expertise is indispensable to my business. Good partnerships are hard to come by, that is why Will and I plan to stick together." Makris's marketing and connections, accompanied by his partner Cobi Levy's expertise in restaurant design, powers this extraordinary partnership.

Calling upon his expertise in the restaurant business, Levy knew he wanted to create something unique with Lola Taverna, which is exactly why he asked Makris to join him once again.

Looking at the success of Lola Taverna, this decision is clearly paying off. Despite their early success during remarkably difficult times, Makris is still focused on finding new and creative ways to grow the business. Makris states, "I'm getting calls from all over the country with interest," says Makris. "We are planning on expanding the brand, hopefully to Los Angeles and Las Vegas. We're firing on all cylinders."

No matter what the future holds for New York City and COVID-19 relief, we are confident that, under Makris's and Levy's stewardship, Lola Taverna is here to stay.
