While the whole "Pokemon Go" Valentines Day Collection Challenge was truly something for trainers to invest in while trying to both find and catch all of the needed "Pokemon" in order for them to complete the given challenges, there's something bigger at stake now. "Pokemon" trainers might need to put in more effort s not only is the fun and other surprises on the line but there's also an option to get "Pokemon Go" Espeon as well!

Espeon is reportedly really hard to find within "Pokemon Go". However, all thanks to the said Valentine's Day Collection Challenge, trainers might be able to see this "Pokemon" in certain three-star raids since this is actually required in order to complete the given challenge. Thankfully, there's a "Pokemon Go" Espeon weakness list that can be provided.

Espeon 'Pokemon Go' weakness

Espeon was initially introduced in the Generation II's "Pokemon" Silver and "Pokemon" Gold. It is said to be  one of Eevee's many potential evolutions answering the question "How can you evolve Eevee into espeon?" and instantly became a huge hit for those fans who appreciate cats and cat-like "Pokemons". Espeon is known to be a Psychic-type "Pokemon".

The weakness of Espeon is Bug-type, Ghost-type, and Dark-type "Pokemon". However, before scratching your head while wondering which is really best, it's important to check out the "Pokemon Go" Espeon moveset and "Pokemon Go" counters down below as per an article by Dexerto.

'Pokemon Go' Espeon counters

"Pokemon Go" trainers might actually be tempted to use just their favorite "Pokemon" or basically just one or perhaps all of the types that were mentioned earlier. However, some are still better than others and it really still depends on the moves.

  1. Chandelure - Hex and Shadow

  2. Giratina - Shadow Claw and Shadow Ball

  3. Darkrai - Shadow Ball and Snarl (lowers Espeon's Special Attack)

  4. Hydreigon - Bite and Dark Pulse

  5. Weavile - Feint Attack and Foul Play

  6. Mewtwo - Psychic and Shadow Ball

Just like that, players can head on towards deeper in the raid and opt to fight Espeon by themselves. Of course, trainers might want to equip themselves with a couple of Pokeballs as well since the Esepon is quite a rare "Pokemon" and it would be a shame to not be able to capture it.

'Pokemon Go' Espeon how to get

The now ongoing "Pokemon Go" Valentine's Day Collection Challenge is scheduled to end this coming February 18. This means gamers will have to act really fast and also act smart if they want to be able to capture Espeon within the given timeline. Of course, depending on your level and expertise, Espeon might still be a little tough to capture.

Without being able to capture "Pokemon Go" Espeon, trainers will just get back to the regular hunt and grind. This will be much harder compared to the simple three-star raid if done right. Well, the thing about this raid is that smarts really matter so as long as the "Pokemon Go" Espeon counters are followed, there could be a chance to capture that rare "Pokemon".
