"Fortnite" maker and Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney has answered his Twitter followers regarding the comeback of his batlle royale game to the iOS Apple app store. Unfortunately, his answer is 'no, it's not going to happen soon.'

'Fortnite' Maker Still 'Firm' in its Decision to NOT Go Back to Apple, Still Over 30% Commission Direct Payment
On Thursday, March 11, Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney straightly told his Twitter followers to never expect "Fortnite" to return to iOS app store due to the direct payment issues between two companies.
One twitter user accused the CEO of turning down offer of Apple company of settling down the lawsuit. He even justified that millions of players can't play the game due to Epic Games' declined position on the proposal.
Sweeney told him, "As I said, Epic is firm in our decision to support direct payment on iOS and Android. Apple is blocking Fortnite for this reason." He also added, "Talk to Apple."

'Fortnite' 30% commission
Despite the explanation of Epic Games CEO, a lot of his Twitter followers still insist that the gaming developer failed to their players regarding this lawsuit. However, Sweeney also justified that Apple app store is allowing the disabled direct purchases on Netflix and Amazon, but not on games-- which for him, was unfair.
Apple rules prohibit this. They require that if purchases are available in a game on another platform that they also be available on iOS. They don’t require this for Netflix or Amazon, though, just games.

Epic v. Apple: May 3 trial
Scheduled on May 3, Epic Games and Apple will be joining an in-person trial following a conference with both parties' legal teams in March 2.
