The year 2015 has seen the rise of two huge rumors regarding Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. One claims that a trailer for the film is coming in February, and chances are, it will be attached to Jupiter Ascending. The other is all about the film being split into two parts.

However, there's now a third rumor -- one that comes from a very reliable source. We've heard in the past that Doomsday would make an appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but we thought this would be a Superman-only battle. Well, that is not the case, as Badass Digest is reporting that Batman and Wonder Woman will also be involved.

It makes sense because Doomsday is one of the most powerful villains in the DC universe. The creature once flattened Darkseid, which is proof enough of his enormous strength and agility. In addition, he also managed to break Superman to the point where only his mind was intact. His body was completely broken, and thus he was presumed dead.

Having the Trinity team up against a powerful foe in our eyes is the perfect way to get these heroes in the mood to work together. We believe the idea of teaming up will turn out to be a hard sell, especially since the Batman is more of a lone wolf at times.

The big question is how Zack Snyder plans to introduce Doomsday if this rumor were true.

We know that the creature was created on Krypton, so unless there is a change in the origin, then the beast should be Kryptonian. If there is a change, we'd like to think that Lex Luthor created him from remnants via Zod's body and technology taken from the ship.

However, we believe it would be best if we find out that Doomsday was created on Krypton and sent to the Phantom Zone due to his violent nature. He was then accidentally released during the battle between Superman and Zod, or better yet, Luthor himself released the creature as he seeks to destroy Superman.

There are so many ways this could play out, but no matter which route is taken, we have no doubt that this battle is going to be spectacular.
