On Monday, April 5, "Homefront: Revolution" developer revealed new information regarding an easter egg he has been hiding for a long time. In "Homefront: Revolution," there is a fully playable version of "TimeSplitters 2," which can even be enjoyed in 4k. The only thing problem with the game is that the developer could not remember the code, until now.
A Big Easter Egg Revealed
'TimeSpliiters 2' Easter Egg Code Finally Cracked In 'Homefront Revolution'
According to Eurogamer, a developer of the game "TimeSplitters 2," revealed earlier this week, a fully playable version of its sequel was tucked away in "Homefront: Revolution." The only issue was that the code for unlocking the easter egg had been lost throughout time - or so it was believed, until now.
The significant easter egg first surfaced over the weekend, where former Homefront: The Revolution developer Matt Phillips explained the "TimeSplitters 2" cameo expected to appear was initially intended to be fully playable via an unlock code that was never made public.
The unlock code has been lost to time, I don't have the notebook with it in any more. I once gave it to a friend to leak in some Discord channel and they called him a liar and banned his account ahahah

Sadly, Phillip stated that the unlock code has been lost to time and that he no longer has the notebook that contained it. He did, however, reveal the code had been shared with a friend in another Discord channel before it disappearing.
That same friend, Xbox principal software engineer Spencer Perreault, has returned to save the day. According to the Polygon, modder, and hacker Lance McDonald worked on reversing-engineering Homefront: The Revolution menus to figure out the entrance. He had already discovered that "emulation ninja" Spencer Perreault had shared his findings on Twitter on Thursday.

According to Perreault's tweet, players wishing to squeeze some more TimeSplitters 2 action out of their time at Homefront might want to try entering the code into the game using an Xbox controller.

There are other codes hidden in the game which may allow you to bring out additional easter eggs. These are the ones that are accessible.
