In the true spirit of the American dream, the work of art titled Liberty, by Russian artist Evgeniya Golik embodies the peace and hope that comes with the privilege of living in the United States. As she recently partnered with American-made premium luxury vodka brand, Trust Me, Golik's Liberty has since been featured on a 20,000-bottle series of the brand's vodka. Known for showcasing the talent and work of various artists both domestic and international, Trust Me is a true connoisseur of the arts, enlisting unique and diverse artists to create the backdrop of their bottles.

Devoted to sharing and celebrating arts in all forms, Trust Me vodka hosts an event this weekend, debuting Golik's Liberty taking on new life as a mural in downtown San Diego. The event, to be held Sunday, April 25th from 12-3pm will take place at Mixon Liquor, just south of the historic Little Italy district. With the Trust Me x Evgeniya Golik series of bottles nearly sold out, the event will be a last-chance opportunity to take home a piece of Golik's art. And for those who miss out, the Liberty mural will remain a permanent fixture on the building for San Diego residents and visitors to enjoy. Golik's work features the picture of Liberty, a goddess, encompassing all walks of life under her wings, creating a sense of unity, equality, peace and freedom of expression, without any judgment.

"Art is not meant to please anyone or to decorate a house," Golik says. "I think art is to make people feel something. All art needs to have a certain message. That is what I try to do with my art. I try to have a strong message in each of my paintings because that's my way of communicating with the world. It's an international language."
