It is now Friday which means it is another week that has just gone by without any news of "Mother 3" actually coming to the West. It has already been 15 years and 10 days ever since the game was launched in Japan but thoughts of a new localize "Mother 3" still seem quite far away.

Localize "Mother 3"

Unexpectedly, the face supporting the whole localize "Mother3" movement that just sparked came from Terry Crews after he left just a simple message for Nintendo while solidly saying "LOCALIZE MOTHER 3!" While Terry Crews' wishes might not be enough to sway Nintendo, it is already adding onto the piling hype train with the addition of other people all voicing how they approve of Crews' demands!

According to the story by IGN, "Mother 3" as of the moment, is a certain Japan-only sequel to the otherwise SNES cult-classic game known as EarthBound, which had the previous title of "Mother 2" over in Japan. "Mother 3" was actually originally released for the Game Boy Advance back in 2006. Fans have reportedly been asking Nintendo to localize "Mother 3" for quite some time now.

News of Progress?

At E3 2018, IGN reportedly asked Nintendo's then-president Reggie Fils-Aime regarding the potential English release of an upcoming EarthBound sequel. During that time, Reggie acknowledged the fans' wishes for a new localized "Mother 3"noting that when they have something new, they will then update the public.

Ever since Reggie had officially retired from Nintendo, the ex-president had recently tweeted that a new English version of "Mother 3" was actually his oldest backlog game. He then stated that he puts off playing the game every time he suddenly gets trolled about it.

Terry Crews Video Games

While there is still no news on any official or fruitatious movement regarding what fans want when it comes to the "Mother" franchise, Nintendo sometimes comes back to the franchise itself. The "Mother 3" protagonist Lucas has already been a member of the popular Super Smash Bros. roster for the previous four entries of the popular series starting all the way back to the 2008 Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Additionally, Nintendo has already localized the original "Mother" as the "EarthBound Beginnings" back on the Wii U Virtual Console in 2015. As for Terry Crews, the actor has always been vocal about his love for video games. When rumors previously started to go around about the "Overwatch" character known as Doomfist, Terry Crews was far from shy when it came to wanting to voice the hero.

The actor has also reportedly voiced the main character in the previous 2019's "Crackdown 3." As for what is going to happen to "Mother 3," everyone is on their own guessing if Nintendo will finally decide to localize "Mother 3" which is something that fans have been begging for for a very long time now.
