HP EliteDesk Ryzen units to launch as the company is trying to upgrade the HP EliteDesk 805 G8 series for business purposes. HP finally picks Ryzen CPUs to power its units after a long time of always picking Intel. This does not mean, however, that Intel is out of the picture.

AMD Ryzen PRO 5000 Chips

According to the story by XDA Developers, at COMPUTEX today, HP had just announced a number of new business PCs coming from its Elite and Pro lineup which would include the EliteDesk 805 G8 series as well as the ProDesk 405 G8 series. They would reportedly include the AMD Ryzen PRO 5000 chips.

When it comes to the HP EliteDesk 805 G8 series, the company actually notes that users will be able to finely tune their fans. That way, users can also choose to keep the machine quiet, or users can turn up the fans in order to achieve maximum performance.

HP also notes that this is its quietest AMD business-class mini-PCs. Security is also top-end due to the HP Wolf Security for Business alongside with the Ryzen PRO processors. There are also two different HP EliteDesk 805 G8 PCs to be announced, notably a Desktop Mini PC as well as a Small Form Factor PC.

The Mini is actually mounted behind the unit's monitor and in fact, HP actually makes a product that is called the Mini-in-One 24 display that was initially designed in order to mount the product. The film actually says that this is the smallest but still the most powerful AMD-powered ultra small form factor for the HP business PC.

HP Small Form Factor Model

Obviously, the Small Form Factor model is sized a little bigger. It also has two different bays, two half-height slots, three different M.2 slots, and even 11 USB ports. This would provide users with a lot of expandable options for the product.

Next up is the HP ProDesk 405 G8 series, which also comes along with the HP Desktop Mini as well as the Small Form Factor solutions which is the world's most configurable AMD-powered business function small form factor desktop. According to the HP website, the HP Small Form Factor 805 G6, an older model, is packed with the AMD Ryzen 3 Pro.

It was stated that out of the four products that are being announced, both the HP Elite 805 G8 as well as the HP ProDesk 405 G8 series are now expected to launch some time in August.

HP, however, did not yet provide a final pricing of the computers getting closer to the launch. Interest buyers will just have to wait for the official announcement by HP regarding how much the computers would cost.
