Valve Steam Deck CAD Files are available online for people to download freely and use for 3D printing shells and parts of the handheld, portable gaming console.

If you do not believe Steam Deck's free and available files of 3D printing online, come and see for yourself via Valve's GitHub post that brought its CAD in one database. Yep, that is right, as Valve's Steam Deck is bringing all DIY enthusiasts and the hands-on gamers a chance to 3D print shells and other console parts for free.

The CAD files are now available on this database, and they will not expire or be taken down by Valve in a fixed time, as it made its files accessible for all.

Valve said to "do what you want with it" and that users are at liberty to open up the consoles as well, with its popular tear-down video that explains what is inside the portable console.

Valve Brings Good News for DIY Enthusiasts for Steam Deck

Valve said that the CAD files are for people who want a hands-on approach to their portable gaming consoles for modifications or improvement with its parts. The Steam Deck is a device that Valve does not want to be exclusive for people to modify or change, hence the different features for the public.

Valve Steam Deck's Arrival

Valve did well on its initial promise of the Steam Deck's availability for the public as the orders came through for this February, and slowly but surely, the consoles are delivering to their rightful owners. The console got a lot of delays throughout the several months that it lost the public for not providing the Steam Deck in time.

Currently, the online world is trending with its appreciation of the Steam Deck and how its performance is unparalleled to other consoles of the same caliber.

Also, the popularity of its accessories to match and improve its gaming experiences are available online, making it more accessible for its owners to stylize their handheld device.

The company made the Steam Deck one of the most desirable consoles of the generation, catching them with its performance, portability, wide range of titles available, customer service, and more.

Valve's move with making its CAD files available online is a move that no other companies did or allowed, making the Steam Deck more of a people's console for its freebies.
