Epic Games focused on its efforts to bring this initiative via "Fortnite," its current most famous game in the market, by providing its sales entirely to the assistance drive.

Epic Games' "Fortnite" expressed its intention to help Ukraine and its current situation now, and it aims to bring the earnings that the game will generate in the coming two weeks for the country. Everything that "Fortnite" will earn from March 21 through April 3 is going to the proceeds that support the humanitarian aid drive for Ukrainians.

It means that gamers that buy something from "Fornite's" shop like in-game skins, emotes, gliders, the Battle Pass, and other offers are coming to Ukraine. This initiative is a good opportunity for gamers to extend their help to the country, but at the same time, receive the items that they paid for via the battle royale title.

Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine from Epic Games

The game developers, Epic Games, are partnering with DirectRelief, the United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF), UN World Food Programme, and the UNHCR- The UN Refugee Agency in this venture. Epic said that upon April 3 and gathering all the money, it will immediately send its earnings for Ukraine via its partner agencies.

Ukraine and the Assistance it Needs

Ukraine may be in conflict now, but it is not alone as outpouring help and assistance from every corner of the globe come up with ways to give the country what it needs. Many companies already pledged their assistance with Ukraine, and it may not be all monetary help, but some are features of their app like what PayPal did.

The world is concerned with Ukraine and its current situation, and it is not something that should be brushed off considering that a global pandemic plagues everyone and threatens wellness. A feature from SpaceX's Starlink focused on giving more terminals and centering its satellites to the European country to give it fast internet connections.

Anonymous donations via Bitcoin also poured for the country, already amounting to millions of dollars for the venture.

Epic Games is also getting on this initiative to help Ukraine, and it may be later than other companies with their assistance, but at least this pledge aims to extend its assistance to the country. "Fortnite" is a massive service for the country, and it focuses on a battle royale experience, but it still aims to bring a lot for the country in the coming weeks.
