Elon Musk talks About Free Speech; New Age of Twitter?

Elon Musk tweets a lot about free speech today, and this is about his recent Twitter purchase, which the company recently announced after its deliberation early Monday.

Musk talks about how much freedom of speech will be available online, and it suggests a New Age of Twitter that will forego its current restrictions and other prohibitions.

However, Musk is vague regarding these details and only talks about free speech on the platform.

There was a screenshot of a Tesla internal email sent by Elon Musk to Juleanna Glover, and here he said he would tweet as much as he wanted and suffer the consequences later.

Musk also said in the email that he is deleting his Instagram as it is "weak sauce," with him continuing online that Instagram will make you feel thirsty despite having water everywhere.

Journalistic Freedom for All Online, Even for Critics

The new Twitter owner even went as far as to say that he wishes free speech for everyone online, including his "worst critics," to remain on Twitter despite his tutelage. The turn of events on Twitter's ownership would not change anything for anyone, Musk saying that free speech will be available here.

There were many rejections to the initial bid of the tech CEO to buy Twitter, and several board members and investors disagreed with the offer by the billionaire to purchase the social media. However, after several negotiations and disputes online, the company considered deliberating the proposal and turned out to seal the deal.

Instead of a $43 billion deal for social media, Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion, and the new owner already laid his plans online, with many cryptic tweets regarding its future. Elon Musk has many plans for Twitter, and it would focus on having many features online, with the executive asking the public polls about what they want.

Many features were teased online, and there are many plans that the tech CEO has for its purchase of the company, including the long-awaited long-form tweets for press members.

There will be a "New Age of Twitter" that will happen once Musk has already secured his position as someone who runs the company in what he wishes to accomplish for it. There would be no interference as it is private, and the top billionaire will have complete control of the social media platform to have the free speech he wishes to attain.
