Scarlet Witch Joins ‘Fortnite,’ New Skin Comes from ‘Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness’

Scarlet Witch arrives on the "Fortnite" island, and the game offers the cosmetic skin of the famous mutant from both "The Avengers" and "X-Men" franchise from Marvel Comics. This specific version of Wanda Maximoff comes from the new Marvel Cinematic Universe flick called "Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness," played by Elizabeth Olsen.

"Fortnite" announced via its Twitter page that the Scarlet Witch is arriving on its platform to bring her battle royale mayhem to the game. She is coming with her modern suit from "WandaVision" and "Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness" film, the recent MCU film that made it to theaters that continue the story of the Sorcerer Supreme.

It is one significant drop for "Fortnite" to bring the Scarlet Witch to the MCU, and it joins the movie premiere that brings the Master of the Mystic Arts' story.

There are similar events to this, where "Fortnite" brought movie characters alongside its premiere, and it is with the Nathan Drake skin with Tom Holland, back when the movie "Uncharted" came out from Sony.

'Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness' Scarlet Witch

Chaos magic is coming to the island, and the Scarlet Witch outfit is now available in the Item shop from the game. When purchasing the bundle, the skin comes with a Chaos Hand Axe Pickaxe, Psychic Energy Manipulation Emote, Wanda's Cloak Back Bling, and 'Through the Mirror Dimension' Loading Screen.

'WandaVision,' 'Doctor Strange,' and 'Fortnite'

"WandaVision" is one of the earliest series appearing on Disney+ after Marvel's "Avengers: Endgame," and it brings a continuation to the many loopholes left by the climax of MCU's Phase 3. The first episode of the series brought Disney+'s servers down due to the number of users that logged in and streamed the show at the same time.

The season finale brought Wanda Maximoff a new look for the character, and it is close to her original suit that the designers adapted to the style and contemporary take on the suit.

She is joining the Sorcerer Supreme in the battle royale, especially as she already is a big part of the new film, "Multiverse of Madness," whose characters are teaming up again on smaller screens. They will join fellow Avengers on "Fortnite" with Hawkeye, Spider-Man, and other team members from past offers.

The Scarlet Witch is one powerful entity in the Marvel Universe, and it may be the same case on "Fortnte," without much of her mystic powers but more of the battle royale madness she brings. It might be weird to see the Scarlet Witch taking up a weapon and drawing her pickaxe instead of merely using her powers, but it is still "Fortnite" and not a Marvel game.
