Why Elon Musk had a Secret Instagram Account

Elon Musk specifically noted that his secret Instagram account was for opening links being sent by friends. In a blog post by AppTuts.net, one advice given to users in order for them to protect their instagram accounts is to not open links that they receive from direct messages.

The post notes that despite a URL looking familiar, users should only open links from people that they trust. This could be a potential reason behind why the Tesla CEO decided to have a secret Instagram account for links.
