The viral "jiggle jiggle" TikTok has been in the spotlight for quite a while and it might even stick around for longer. Despite its popularity, not much is known about the "rapper" behind it, Louis Theroux.

Who is the 'Viral Jiggle Jiggle TikTok Guy' Louis Theroux?

As some might have discovered, Therox is not actually a full time rapper and as CNet reveals, he is actually a British-American documentarian. Louis Theroux is also the son of Paul Theroux, the famous novelist having written the book "The Mosquito Coast," "Dark Star Safari," and "Ghost Train to the Eastern Star" among others according to Thrift Books.

The son of the famous novelist was interviewed on an episode of his Weird Weekends BBC2 documentary series and this was where the magic began. The episode aired back in 2000 and Theroux was once again asked in a more recent interview on Chicken Shop Date on Feb 18 regarding his original rap.

The Rap was Noticed Shortly After It was Remixed by Duke and Jones

The original rap, however, was still in acapella and it remained so until Duke and Jones, two Manchester-based producers, decided to add accompanying music to the rap on March 16. The new remixed version started to gain traction on TikTok and as of the time of the report, it has been able to gain over 50 million views.

The real question, however, is how Louis Theroux was able to make the song. As per the documentarian, he actually made the song while in the shower. The rap itself is quite self explanatory and starting off by saying his money doesn't jiggle like coins but rather folds like bills.

Could the Viral 'Jiggle Jiggle' TikTok Song Become a Complete Single?

The song has remained extremely volatile and as per a rapper that helped break down his lines in the report made by CNet, the rap started out with Theroux saying he doesn't have nickels and dimes but rather dollars.

As per HITC, Theroux could have more plans for the rap aside from it just being a hit on TikTok. The article says that he is hinting on releasing the viral rap as a complete single.

Duke and Jones Secured a Record Deal with 'Sony Music UK Imprint Robots + Humans'

This, however, has not yet been confirmed and the documentarian has also not made any claims that he would make a switch on his career and become a rapper. Theroux wasn't the only one that gained success due to the viral remix.

Duke and Jones also became recognized due to the "jiggle jiggle" TikTok remix. As per the DJ duo, due to the viral success they have received for their remix, they were able to secure a record deal with "Sony Music UK imprint Robots + Humans" according to an article by the Los Angeles Times.
