One True King, founded initially in 2020, has come a long way in its nearly two years of existence. Known for its incredible group of funny, witty, and imaginative members pressed alongside an even more remarkable producing output, the OTK Media brand itself proves time again that it will remain at the forefront of the esports and live streaming entertainment industry, butting heads against such names as 100 Thieves, Faze Clan and TSM without breaking a sweat.

Announced on Tuesday, June 7, in prime OTK fashion, with a seemingly run-of-the-mill Asmongold stream that evolved into its full-on reveal, WePlay Esports, and the media organization will be teaming up to deliver high-class content through the firm's Los Angeles based facility. As shown off in its grand style amid Asmongold's stream, the OTK arena features some exciting tools for the group to play with, including a fully-equipped augmented reality stage, 200 m2 screen, and cameras at every angle, so viewers don't miss a single ounce of the action.

The strategic partnership was likewise later detailed in a full press release, which divulges more in-depth on how WePlay Esports is aiding OTK in its upcoming OTK Games Expo, slated for the reveal on May 8. While seating inside the facility may only fit around 100 people, the 20,000 square foot space is meant more for a worldwide live-viewing audience on Twitch, which is set to top 100,000 if past numbers of individual OTK member streams is evidence enough.

OTK is behind some of the biggest shows on Twitch, including OTK Schooled, Loot Goblins, Parasocial, and so much more. Known for its scuffed production quality amidst previous live event streams, OTK is headed into a whole new era through this new partnership and will now be able to fully realize its potential through incredible software integrations, which co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Tips Out explains in the press release:

"The augmented and virtual reality capabilities at WePlay Esports add a whole new dimension to collaborative content. Content that would've normally required participants to be in the same physical space is now remotely accessible."

The LA facility comes second to WePlay's initial arena set up in Kyiv, Ukraine, where the company has its headquarters. The company first set up shop in 2006 and has since made a name for itself in live esports events, utilizing incredible studios and talented crews to deliver groundbreaking tournaments that feature high-quality technological innovations. The esports firm set records last year, toppling viewer counts in its Russian-language CS:GO tournament, which peaked at 865,000 concurrent viewers.

"We've been working for quite some time before finally launching our WePlay Esports Arena L.A. and are happy it happened with our OTK partners," said WePlay chief visionary officer and general producer, Maksym Bilonogov. "Hopefully, the stream of June 7, 2022, was just the beginning of a series of our joint initiatives held in and out of our American arena."

The OTK Games Expo is slated to show off nearly 30 varied games, with a $50,000 developmental grant attached for those titles that seemingly impress the OTK squad. In addition, both OTK and WePlay Esports will be running a charity in the background, donations of which will be going toward peace and humanitarian aid for Ukraine.

You can catch all the awesome gaming action of OTK's Games Expo live on WePlay Esports' own Twitch, as well as Asmongold's, starting at 2 PM EST.
