'The Sims 4' Pocket Telescope Meteor Death
This small telescope on "The Sims 4" is not entirely new.
As per a news story by The Gamer, the Meteor first saw the shimmer of the spotlight in "The Sims 3." But the new update of "The Sims 4" debuts the deadly telescope, marking its comeback.
Meanwhile, according to a recent report by PC Gamer, it has been roughly eight years since Sims players last saw the tiny telescope.
Meteor Death is finally back. It also got slightly refined after several years of absence.
PC Gamer highlights that the pocket-sized telescope looks more realistic when using it in a garden or a balcony. It now has a couple of fancy color choices too.
Sims could carry the telescope around as part of their inventory.

'The Sims 4' Meteor Death: How it Works
While the entire Sims franchise somewhat attempts to mimic real-life situations, it gets a bit far from reality from time to time.
This new deadly telescope is relatively close to reality as it helps "The Sims" players to see if a meteor is heading their way to murder them.
Sure, The Gamer notes that there is a chance that such a drastic event could happen in real-life. But, Meteor Death is a bit more dangerous than normal stargazing.

Based on the name of the tiny telescope itself, it sure sounds suspiciously dangerous.
Its moniker is not some edgy nickname to merely make it sound cool. It is an apt name for what it can actually do.
PC Gamer says that the cute pocket-sized telescope can kill your playable character on "The Sims 4."
It comes as using Meteor Death alone possesses a risk of Sims getting killed after being hit by a rock from space.
It should not be a worry as the game would give away a warning before the meteorite put your Sims to death.
To avoid getting hit by the rocks from outer space, the playable character needs to find shelter indoors... or else they face their death.
After getting hit by the meteorite, the Sims become a ghost. And a tiny rock shining through their chest would remind them of their stargazing session.
