"Hearthstone's" Murder at Castle Nathria is expected to come out sometime next month, which would come "with a heinous crime to solve and 10 legendary suspects in the frame."

Hearthstone and Its Unique Way for Players to Crash Different Stats Together

According to the story by PC Gamer, Hearthstone, like other most trading card games, is about fundamentally throwing down monsters and letting their stats crash against each other. The game is also about dealing the most damage to opponents.

The publication notes that they are still amused regarding how designers are able to create convoluted thematic reasons for different stats to crash. This is despite yearlong narratives regarding a plucky band of mercenaries or a journey directly towards the bottom of the sea in order to be menaced by the fish folk.

The Set is Going to be Made Up of 135 Cards with 10 Legendary 'Suspects' on August 2

Hearthstone is going into storytelling through combat maths, and its next foray into this will be the Murder at Castle Nathria. As per the article, the initial batch of cars along with the accompanying fluff "sounds like Team 5's take on stuff like Knives Out and Clue."

According to Blizzard as noted by Well-Played, "Sire Denathrius-former leader of Revendreth-has invited his enemies as guests to his Castle for an elegant dinner soiree." The set is expected to release on August 2 and will be made of 135 cards with 10 of them being legendary "suspects" which means one per class.

Players will be Given a New Card Type and Keyword

Players will be getting a brand new type of card along with a new "Keyword." Location cards can still be placed on the board like millions but will be added with a buff which can be used once a turn. Just like weapons, they have just limited durability, which will be decreased with every single activation.

The new keyword is going to be Infuse, and it will involve drinking in the lost "anima" whenever the minion dies until the card will transform into an upgraded version of itself. As per Blizzard, the cards can be held in the players' hands until they are fully infused.

Murder at Castle Nathria Set Will Get a Dev Stream Hosted by Brian Kibler and Leo Robles Gonzalez

In order to celebrate the new set, all of the players will be getting the legendary neutral card as a login reward. The legendary card that players will be given is Prince Renathal.

As per PC Gamer, the old art was better and linked to Murloc Holmes, a legendary neutral minion card that comes from the Murder at Castle Nathria set. The publication notes that there will be a dev stream that will be hosted by Brian Kibler and Leo Robles Gonzalez, the game designer, at 11 AM PST on July 1 on both Twitch and YouTube.
