Nintendo Switch Online Gets New SNES, NES Games

As per the latest story by Nintendo Life, the Japanese gaming firm, the Switch console maker, squeezed three more games into the classical library of its Switch Online subscription service.

Two of the new gaming titles on Nintendo Switch Online date back to the 90s, while one of the three debuted way back in the 80s.

The official Twitter account of Nintendo of America told members of Switch Online that three new classic Super NES and NES games are now live.

The Nintendo of America Twitter account shared a teaser of the classical games on its subscription service, showcasing the nostalgic retro gameplay graphics of these SNES and NES titles.

The new Switch Online offerings include the "Daiva Story 6 Imperial of Nirsartia," which debuted on the NES way back in 1986.

On top of the new NES Classic, Nintendo also brings two NES games, "Fighter's History" and "Kirby's Avalanche," to the Switch Online service.

It comes as the new retro games on the library are not titles from the Nintendo 64 or the Sega Genesis, which are exclusively available on the Expansion Pack plan of the subscription service.

Not to mention that these three new games do not require any additional payment from the current subscribers of Switch Online.

So to get your hands on these three new games, all you have to do is get a basic subscription to the Nintendo Switch Online.

Upon doing so, you will get access to the whole library of the Switch Online titles, including a retro classic from NES and SNES.

It now readily includes three exciting gaming classics, such as "Kirby's Avalanche," "Fighter's History," and the "Daiva Story 6: Imperial of Nirsartia."

On the other hand, subscribers of Switch Online in Japan are getting a different Kirby game. Instead of the "Kirby's Avalanche" folks in the Land of the Rising Sun receive the "Kirby's Super Star Stacker."
