Last Wednesday's Pokemon Presents event gave the world significant information regarding its new title, "Pokemon Scarlet and Violet," and it pointed out a significant change that leaks first saw coming. According to ComicBook Gaming, the company and its developers revealed that there would be no more "level scaling" for the game's experience.

What does it mean?

Well, it talks about having no more level requirements or specific needs to visit gyms and go into battle against its leaders when venturing to the new Paldea region of the Generation IX content.

However, the main dispute here is that it would feature the open-world experience with "Scarlet and Violet," but at the same time have a different difficulty level per gym, and it still follows the old format.

Why are the Gym Battles a Significant Dispute for Gamers?

This confirmed leak is a significant dispute for gamers because it does not offer an open-world experience, but still follows a specific gym progression where players would need to visit, one before the other.

It defeats the purpose of the open world, mainly as it would not have a different difficulty level when visiting it randomly, still having an order on which is the first down to its last.

The game is releasing by November, and there may be time to fix it before its release, but it may not be the case, as the company confirmed via the event.

'Pokemon's' Franchise in the Present

Pokemon Presents brought the world much information about the franchise's content that is coming for all in the future, especially for its releases for the year.

One of the most significant focuses of the event is the "Pokemon Scarlet and Violet," the latest game in the company's role-playing game experience that centers on a new region called the Paldea region.

The Generation IX title from Pokemon brings one of the latest offers of the platform for all, with its setting taking heavy inspiration from Portugal and Spain's regions of the game. Still, it presents what the Japanese multimedia developer brings to the game, centering on the pocket monsters that bring the adventures for its avatars.

Pokemon is evolving significantly for the world, and despite its later content that centers on the new generation of manga content that transitions to its multimedia offers. Now, there is a different setup for the gym battles, and it is different from what gamers expect in the game that it presented before in past titles and versions.
