Franky Zapata's JetRacer is looking at a test flight for the personal aircraft that uses microjets, and it now looks for 100 people for the draw that will choose 25 participants in the US to use and fly it. The personal flying vehicle is testing its capabilities, and it will give the public the chance to be a part of its test flights and experience.

A French inventor is extending the use of his flying jet to the public, and it aims to give the people a chance to fly the vehicle that is now under testing and operations. The testing will come to the United States, and according to its website, the team is looking for 100 people that they would choose from, and draw 25 participants for the experience.

People only need to sign up for the experience via its registration website, and here, people would only enter their details and now have this chance and fly the personal aircraft for their needs.

First and foremost, Zapata's JetRacer is a VTOL or a vertical takeoff and landing aircraft that uses kerosene instead of batteries for it to fly.

It means that the vehicle would feel like a flying vehicle that uses micro-turbo jet engines that is capable of high speeds.

Zapata JetRacer Features Improvements on Aircraft

According to Interesting Engineering, the JetRacer now features improvements and a better flying vehicle compared to its first iterations when it was starting. The new aircraft would allow people better maneuverability and control with its body when flying on tight obstacles and turns.

Additionally, there are no qualifications needed to fly the aircraft, getting access to its full experience that may fly over ground or water.

Flying Personal Aircraft and eVTOLs Now

The world saw a significant number of eVTOL aircraft from different companies now, and it aims to change the game with a flying vehicle that does not need a runway to propel from the ground. It brings a new experience for all, as it is more of a personal flying vehicle than airplanes that are usually bigger and have more space.

Most eVTOLs bring one to two seats, with some not featuring any cover for the vehicle. Now, the focus of eVTOLs is to bring a flying car that people may use in the city and avoid any traffic that land-based cars would usually face and see as a problem as it requires going on roads, with the venture focusing on flying overboard mostly for "air taxis."

However, not all ventures on eVTOLs are not for taxis, and some focus on bringing a person their flying vehicle for their different needs, including one from Zapata.

The company is giving the world a chance to fly an eVTOL, and this time, the testing is available for 25 eligible civilians that it will choose via a draw. People may participate in this event by simply signing up, and there would be no requirements for this apart from being adults and the rest comes along for the improved version of the JetRacer.
