The raging shipping delays of the all-new Mac Studio come despite nearly six months have passed since Apple debuted the new Mac desktop last March.

Apple Mac Studio Delays

As per the recent report by WCCFTech, the all-new Mac Studio has yet to start shipping to a huge bulk of Apple customers as it continues to face shipping hiccups.

So if you are looking to get your hands on the fastest Mac device out there, you might have to wait several weeks before it reaches your doorstep.

WCCFTech further notes in its report that the top-of-the-line variant of the Mac Studio is likely seeing significant demand as it experiences the longest shipping delay.

The tech news outlet speculated that the delays in the new Mac desktop might have something to do with the supplier of the M1 Ultra system on chip (SOC), the TSMC. It comes as the chipmaker is also grappling to fulfill orders from other renowned tech giants other than Apple.

Mac Studio 10-Week Shipping Delay?

According to a news story by Mac Rumors, the base model of the Studio flaunts the earliest estimated shipping date, starting from one to three weeks.

On the other hand, the M1 Ultra-powered Mac Studio is estimated to start shipping in the next seven weeks, at least for the 48-core CPU option.

But if you are eyeing the more powerful 64-core GPU variant, the M1-Ultra Mac Studio would potentially take up to 10 weeks or more than two months before you may get your hands on it.

Mac Studio: Is It Worth Buying?

The all-new Mac Studio notably gives its users impressive performance while sporting a distinct portable design.

Besides those advantages, the Mac desktop also features various ports, enabling its users to plug it into multiple displays to maximize overall productivity.

Not to mention that the most expensive Mac Studio runs on the fastest silicon chip of the Cupertino-based tech giant, no less than the M1 Ultra.

Mac Rumors notes in its report that the Mac Studio is essentially a hybrid offering of the ever-popular Mac mini and Mac Pro, providing its users both portability and power.

But given all these, the Mac Studio starts at a hefty retail price of $1,999, making it one of the most premium offerings of Apple in its current lineup.
