So besides the first-ever trailer of "Life of P," fans of the game could now take a peek at the new gameplay footage of the upcoming souls-like title.

'Life of P' Pinocchio Soulslike Gameplay Footage

As per a news story by WCCFTech, one of the most notable reveals during the packed GameCom 2022 event now received 12-minute long gameplay footage, giving us more idea of what to expect once it launches.

The extended gameplay footage of the "Pinocchio" souls-like game is seen in the new video of gaming-focused outlet IGN on YouTube.

'Life of P' at GamesCom 2022

The director of development of "Lies of P," Jiwon Choi, said during the announcement of the all-new game that they have "been toying with the idea of retelling Pinocchio's tale in our own way for some time."

Choi touts it to be "a version of this classic story that you've never seen before," noting that the upcoming Pinocchio souls-like is "the culmination of our dreams and our nightmares."

The "Lies of P" director of development further adds that the team behind the game sees Pinocchio as a "grimly dark tale of the lies we tell to get by in a world that's not always black and white."

According to a recent report by IGN, the souls-like Pinocchio game saw the light of day at the packed GamesCom Opening Night Live, showing off its first-ever trailer.

In the earliest trailer of "Lies of P," we already got a glimpse of the characters and their enemies in the upcoming souls-like gaming title.

The trailer notably shows an interaction between P and another man who calls him "son," which highly suggests that it is none other than his creator and dad, Geppetto.

When is it Launching, and Where to Play it

It is worth noting that the new game developed by Round8 Studio will be available on various gaming platforms, such as PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 5 (PS5) and PS4

WCCFTech notes in its report that the arrival of "Lies of P" on these platforms has yet to get a specific date.

But it is to point out that once it launches, it would also be available on Xbox Game Pass on the same day.
