Nintendo gamers might need to reschedule their next play-together for next week as the video game company is set to roll out a series of maintenance breaks next week. According to a report from Nintendo Everything, the main focus of the maintenance schedule is the Switch, but the 3DS and the Wii U will also be experiencing a brief downtime.

Nintendo Announces Maintenance Schedule this Week

The first maintenance window will focus on the Switch, Wii U, and 3DS Nintendo eShop. This maintenance is scheduled to take place starting 9:30 PM to 11:30 PM on Monday, Aug. 29 (PST). According to the maintenance information released by Nintendo, all network services will be unavailable during the said maintenance window.

The following maintenance will be fixing issues concerning downloadable software use within certain network services. This particular maintenance window is scheduled to take place starting 9:30 PM to 11:30 PM on Monday, Aug. 29 (PST). During this maintenance window, network services may also be unavailable. This maintenance will only be affecting the Switch.

During the same time frame, Nintendo is also set to schedule maintenance addressing Purchasing and Using Passes for the Switch. Network services may also be unavailable during the time of this maintenance window.

Furthermore, Nintendo is also geared up to run a maintenance schedule for the Nintendo Switch Online app. This maintenance focuses on addressing matters with the app's Parental Controls. This particular maintenance window is scheduled to take place starting 9:30 PM to 11:30 PM on Monday, Aug. 29 (PST). This maintenance of the Nintendo Switch Online app will be experienced on both iOS and Android versions.

Lastly, a Switch Distribution of Update Data maintenance is also scheduled. This maintenance is scheduled to take place starting 9:30 PM to 11:30 PM on Monday, Aug. 29 (PST). According to the maintenance information released by Nintendo, all network services will be unavailable during the said maintenance window.

Terracotta Arrives to Switch in October

In other news, a new action-adventure game is set to arrive on Nintendo Switch in October. A recent report from Nintendo Everything says that the adventure game Terracotta by developer Appnormals is planned to be released on Oct. 20.

In a description posted by Appnormals, Terracotta is an adventure inspired by the wonder found in Xi'an in 1974. What the devs are talking about is the Terracotta army uncovered in 1974. This is a vast collection of terracotta sculptures that depicts the armies of emperor Qin Shi Huang that serve as funerary art to guide the dead emperor in the afterlife.

About the upcoming maintenance window, the maintenance schedule will only take place for a couple of hours. Players can take this time to browse new exciting Nintendo titles.
