Since it uses Jeff Bezos' popular streaming platform, the billionaire was often linked to the new TV show.

Some sources even claimed that Amazon CEO provided some notes to the studio handling the new "The Lord of the Rings" adaptation series.

Although this is the case, it is still hard to conclude that the connection of Jeff Bezos with "The Rings of Power" triggered Musk to criticize the new TV series.

According to The Daily Mail UK's latest report, the Tesla CEO bashed the new Amazon Prime Video series via his viral Twitter post.

"Tolkien is turning in his grave. Almost every male character so far is a coward, a jerk, or both. Only Galadriel is brave, smart, and nice," said Musk via his official Twitter post.

As of press time, the billionaire's tweet already garnered more than 15,000 likes, 33,000 retweets, and 260,000 likes.

If you don't know who Tolkien (J.R.R. Tolkien) is, he is the English writer that wrote "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit."

Based on Elon's first statement, he is implying that the new "The Rings of Power" series is a not-so-good "The Lord of the Rings" adaptation.

Aside from criticizing the new Amazon Prime Video show, he also said that most of the comments on his viral Twitter post are from bot accounts. He claimed that 90% of them came from fake profiles. 

Neil Gaiman Responds to Musk's Tweet

Neil Gaiman (Neil Richard MacKinnon Gaiman), an English short fiction writer, responds to Elon's tweet.

Via his official Twitter post, Gaiman said that the billionaire doesn't ask him for advice when it comes to failing the Twitter acquisition.

He added that he also doesn't seek the suggestions of Musk when it comes to TV, film, or literary criticism. As of press time, the tech CEO hasn't responded to Gaiman's statement.
