The game will reportedly encourage four-person duels that would completely change the dynamics of the game. When playing, four different gamers will be connected to each other in different lanes that result in a cross or plus sign.
Aside from the changes to the number of players within a match, most of the gameplay still stays true to the original title. Players will be able to cast spells, set traps, or summon monsters just like in the original Yu-Gi-Oh.
Yu-Gi-Oh Campaigns will be Included in the Game for Hardcore Fans
There will also be a single-player campaign that is designed for hardcore fans. The campaign will allow players to take the place of different characters from all seven series of the much loved show.
This includes the much awaited Seto Kaiba along with other characters. It was also noted that "Yu-Gi-Oh: Cross Duel" wants to be a huge celebration for the popular franchise wherein players will be able to see their favorite characters and some of the iconic monsters.
